May 8, 2018

DoubleTree by Hilton Birmingham | 808 20th Street | Birmingham, AL 35205

9 AM - 4 PM | Registration begins at 8:45 AM

The BSA Officer Annual Training program will provide an update and review of all current BSA topics and issues for 2018. We will look at the new customer due diligence regulations that went in to effect July 11, 2016 with a May 11, 2018 date for compliance. This regulation affects many areas of the bank especially new customer account opening processes. There are four elements of the new CDD regulation which affect legal entity accounts and three elements that affect consumer accounts. This is going to be a very integrated process and we want to begin to understand how this is all connected in your BSA program, new customer process and ultimately tracking customer activity based

on the risk rating questions. This program is a full day of information that will include new examination issues regarding official checks, cash businesses, monitoring accounts and managing your alerts. This program is a must for anyone involved with BSA and will complete your annual training requirements. Participants will receive a comprehensive BSA toolkit on CD that includes training materials, handbooks, audit worksheets and much more!
